Mary Black
Mary Black is one of Ireland’s finest female singers in both Irish pop music and traditional Irish music. Best known for Song for Ireland she has also had hits with Hard Times, Ellis Island, Wonder Child, Katie, Sonny and Past the Point of Rescue. Mary Black was featured artist on the hugely successful A Woman’s Heart collections on which her sister Frances also appears. Along with their three brothers Mary and Frances record as The Black Family.
