The Irish Rovers
The Irish Rovers, an Irish Canadian band, are one of the best-known Irish folk music groups in the world. Their fame is based on their signature tune The Unicorn. Recorded in 1966, it became a million seller single and its popularity continues to this very day. At its height the Irish Rovers consisted of George Millar, Jim Ferguson, Joe Millar, Will Millar and Wilcil McDowell. Among the Irish Rovers’ other well-known tracks are: Black Velvet Band, The Orange & the Green, Shores of Americay and Boys from Belfast.
