This is a collection of fifteen songs all of which were written by Daniel O'Donnell and recorded specifically for this album. I Forgot to Remember to Forget You recounts the day to day efforts made by someone trying to get over a lost love and not succeeding. Don't Break My Heart is a plea of a roving minstrel who has settled down and now fears he might lose his new love. Until the Next Time, which ends the album is a perfect parting song for friends or for a performer to his audience. Daniel takes special pride in My Lovely Island Home, a poem written by his mother, which he put to music.
