In a somewhat more progressive vein, the bagpipe as played by Rory Campbell can be found as part of this "roots revival" band. Here the bagpipe plays in close collaboration with Jonny Hardie, fiddle and Fraser Stone, drums to create an intense and rhythmic mix that can swiftly change to a haunting and eerie sound. Aaron Jones' guitar/vocals sings a selection of traditional Scottish songs that ground the the band in their Highland roots.
