This DVD was intended to promote the CD of the same name, but it never released at the time. Produced while all six members - Paddy Maloney, Sean Keane, Martin Fay, Matt Malloy, Kevin Conneff and Derek Bell - were still with the band. It celebrates the release of a pure traditional album after a long series of very successful crossover releases with various guests stars. The theme of a return to Ireland includes great scenery as the band crisscrosses the Emerald Isle. The DVD opens with Bean an Fir Rua, a beautiful air, played as solo by each member (except of course Kevin - no airs on the bodhran) as the DVD shows scenes from around Ireland. Many great tracks follow including: May Morning Dew, An Poc ar Buile, a session at Matt Molloys Pub and The Donegal Set, where they are joined by members of Altan. Coming 360 degrees the CD closes with The Star of the County Down, filmed in Belfast with that city’s native son, Van Morrison, who was featured on many of their crossover albums.
